VoiceVault Announces the Voice Biometric Smartphone Developer Program

The program supports a wide range of smartphone platforms, including iPhone, Android, and Blackberry.

"With all of the different flavors of device out there, and adoption increasing rapidly, the time is right to provide our partners with all of the tools they need to develop robust voice biometric smartphone solutions" , explained Lee Cottle, VoiceVault 's Global Executive Vice President. "In addition, smartphone users expect robust security and ease of use as a matter of course - and voice biometrics is a key technology to deliver this" .

The VoiceVault Enterprise voice biometric enrolment, authentication, and signature components are currently provided via 3G or WiFi networks, and will be augmented to include an embedded on-device capability that will enable 'offline' devices to also leverage voice biometric functionality.

Sample applications have already been developed within the program that demonstrate, for example, how to supplement key-entry password security used for logging into an app with a voice biometric process, and how any transaction or approval process on a smartphone can be voice-signed using our VoiceSign biometric voice signature technology.

The program provides SOAP and REST APIs for all of the core biometric and management functionality along with help and support from VoiceVault.
