The votes are in for the Pepsi Refresh Project in August, and Molly's Adopt A Sailor is eligible To Win the $50K grant by Pepsi Refresh Project. Molly's Adopt A Sailor was accepted into Pepsi's Refresh Project 50K category, which allows people across America to vote for the top ten refreshing ideas in enhancing America to receive the grant. Out of thousands of submissions, Molly's Adopt A Sailor project was accepted for the August 2010 entry. With the overwhelming support of many individuals, organizations, and supporters, Molly's Adopt A Sailor finished in the top ten. In 2010, Pepsi is awarding more than $20 million to ideas that will move the world forward. Anyone can submit an idea at www.RefreshEverything.com and each month the public decides who wins.

The verification process for the Pepsi Refresh Project finalists is currently underway with the assistance of Phelps Dunbar LLP who has graciously donated their time to help Molly's Adopt A Sailor. Once the grant is approved, Molly's Adopt A Sailor will be using their funding to send more support and care packages to our military overseas.

Molly's Adopt A Sailor is a non-profit (501c3) organization which has for the past two years solely self-supported sending letters & cards, pen pal correspondence, care packages, adopting our men and women who have no one back home and travel to welcome home our arriving troops. Molly's Adopt A Sailor supports all branches of the military.

The impact Molly's Navy moms have on U.S. soldiers is often humbling. One Navy Chief wrote "I am at a loss for words as to the response from everyone across our great nation that helped out with the mail campaign that was put on for my guys, I've been in the military for over 17 years, and have never seen a response like this." Another Marine wrote, "I know a pillowcase may seem like a small ticket item in today's world, but I was using a sweatshirt as a pillowcase before. Thank you!"

Small things to a deployed Marine, Soldier or Sailor can mean more than you know. Molly's motto is simple, "Molly's Adopt A Sailor - We Ship Love - Sending a little bit of home in every package." For more information, please visit Molly's Adopt a Sailor at www.MollysAdoptASailor.com.

Molly's Adopt A Sailor thanks everyone who supported them!
