The Pathetic Case of Jesse Jackson: Everyone Recognizes Him as a Sham
By Robert Paul Reyes
"Detroit's Channel 7 reports that the Reverend's Caddy Escalade SUV was stolen and stripped of its wheels while he was in town last weekend with the UAW's militant President Bob King leading the "Jobs, Justice, and Peace" march promoting government-funded green jobs. Read More
The Rev. Jesse Jackson has been eclipsed in the media by other younger and more intelligent African Americans. The Civil Rights Pimp is seething with rage at the injustice of it all. Is it any wonder that Jackson famously said that he wanted to cut off Obama's manhood?
It's hard to find a rapper worth his salt who isn't toolin' around town in a Cadillac Escalade. In a pathetic bid to look gangsta and remain relevant Jesse drives one of those ostentatious luxury vehicles.
When I think of Jesse Jackson the following words come to mind: Con artist, blowhard, ignoramus, publicity hound, professional rabble rouser, clown...
But we sometimes forget that Jesse Jackson is supposed to be a minister, a man of God. What is a preacher, who is always speaking out on behalf of the poor and disenfranchised, doing driving a car that is worth as much as a small house?
There is a god in heaven, although I'm sure he has nothing but contempt for Jesse Jackson. While Jackson was at an event to promote green jobs, his Escalade was stripped.
I hope the reverend is stripped of his designer duds as well, and he is revealed as an emperor who has no clothes.
Lenny Bruce said that there is nothing more pathetic than an ageing hipster. I would argue that there's nothing more pathetic than an ageing con artist who is too culturally behind the times to fool the marks.
Jesse Jackson will always have his small core group of middle-aged blacks who shout "Amen" to every stupid thing he says. But everybody else, including young African Americans, see him for what he is: A foolish old con man.
