CSI Laboratories to Build New Cancer Diagnostics Laboratory in Atlanta, GA

Leading up to this expansion, CSI Laboratories has grown its medical team and executive leadership by recruiting top talent from around the country. Laboratory directors, Lawrence Hertzberg, M.D., Steve Kargas, M.D., Ph.D. and Theresa Brown, Ph.D., each left Genzyme Genetics to join CSI over the past three years. Keith Sharkey, VP of Sales and Marketing, came to the organization after serving in sales management roles with US LABS and GenPath / Bio-Reference Laboratories. Heather Creran, CSI's President and COO, joined the leadership team after serving in executive roles with Impath and Clarient.

CSI Laboratories offers a unique patient-centric approach to diagnostic care. Over the past three years, CSI has grown to become a premier provider of specialized testing. Demand for its core testing services in clinical flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry and diagnostic consultation has remained high. CSI Laboratories will continue to grow its employee base by 75-100 employees throughout its expansion. Ron Ghafary, CSI's founder, stated, "We have succeeded by providing exceptional customer service.
