RALEIGH, N.C. and NEW YORK, Sept. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Major League Gaming (MLG) has today announced the results and winners from its 50th milestone Pro Circuit event which took place this past weekend at the Raleigh Convention Center. The event was the third in MLG's 2010 Pro Circuit tournament which united thousands of amateur and professional gamers and hosted several high octane gaming competitions.

"We marked our 50th pro circuit tournament in Raleigh with some stunning wins and talented player performances," said Sundance DiGiovanni, co-founder and CEO of Major League Gaming. "We continue to see amazing talent at our pro circuit events and the tenacity and ambition which marks the spirit of MLG was palpable here in particular as tensions mount and we edge closer to the season finale."

In a dramatic final showdown match in the Pro Circuit's headline Halo 3 tournament, Final Boss beat out reigning champions, Team Instinct to claim the first prize of $20,000, their second win since their Meadowlands win in 2008.
