Rossi to March in Labour Day Parade

TORONTO, ONTARIO - (Marketwire - Sept. 2, 2010) - Toronto mayoral candidate Rocco Rossi will participate in Monday's Labour Day Parade by marching alongside members of Local 793 of the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE), a major North American construction union with thousands of members in the Toronto area which has already endorsed Mr. Rossi for mayor in the October 25th election.

"I am looking forward to marching alongside the highly skilled members of Local 793," said Rossi. "As your mayor, my goal will be a Toronto where labour business and City Hall work together to maintain high quality jobs and investment in the city."

Rossi becomes only the second major mayoral candidate to confirm his participation in Monday's parade.
