Rajant Adds Two Software Engineers
MALVERN, Pa. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Rajant
Corporation, a leading provider of tactical wireless solutions,
today announced the addition of Bill Jordan and Jim Newell to its
software engineering team.
Both Mr. Jordan and Mr. Newell will join Rajant's team of developers
working on the company's proprietary communications protocol, InstaMesh.
InstaMesh is the engine in Rajant's line of wireless mesh-networking
products known as BreadCrumbs. Mr. Jordan will initially focus on adding
support for new radios to the BreadCrumb line, and Mr. Newell will focus
first on efficiency improvements to expand network scalability. Their
impressive set of skills and experience are expected to quickly make
valuable contributions in many other areas as well.
Mr. Jordan brings over 24 years of engineering experience with him, most
recently from Unisys Corporation's Virtual Systems Development Group. He
has also held an engineering position in Unisys' Linux Systems
Development Group, as well as with SilverStorm Technologies and Lotus
Development. He holds four software patents.
Mr. Newell has over 17 years of engineering experience, most recently at
pre-Series A startup RackWare Inc. where he developed high-capacity
network storage devices. He has also held engineering positions with
Fairmount Automation/Colfax Corporation, WorldGate Communications, and
InfiniCon Systems, Inc.
