HARMAN International Debuts Home, Multimedia and Mobile Products Launching This Fall
NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - HARMAN International Industries, Incorporated (NYSE:HAR), today
announced the launch of new products this fall across three divisions:
Home Entertainment, Multimedia and Mobile/In-Car.
For music enthusiasts and home theater buffs, the harman kardon
division debuts new products, upgraded technologies and refreshed
designs. The HD 990 high-performance CD player and HK 990 integrated
amplifier offer extreme power and maximum precision. Separately or
together, the duo delivers a world-class, immersive, two-channel audio
experience for the sophisticated listener. In addition, the harman
kardon line brings something innovative to the home theater market with
the release of a new home loudspeaker system: The HKTS 60, designed with
new flat-panel driver technology and a new waveguide-equipped tweeter,
pumps out distortion-free sound for the ultimate realistic experience.
And for 3-D television owners, harman kardon engineers have equipped the
AVR 2600, AVR 3600 and AVR 7550HD receivers with 1.4a v 3-D upgrades,
the most advanced receiver technology.
Also new to home entertainment systems: Movie buffs can look forward to
the release of the new JBL Studio 1 Series loudspeakers.
Comprised of four unique speakers, the series boasts the new,
distinctive JBL Weave design and legendary JBL sound quality. Sold
separately (but voice-matched to work ideally together), the
loudspeakers can be combined to personalize the ideal cinematic home
theater or music experience while spicing up your living room with their
stylish, modern look.
"In today's fast-paced world, technology and style are evolving
rapidly," said Christopher M. Dragon, director of Consumer and Field
Marketing, HARMAN International. "We understand that delivering products
sustainable in both quality and design is essential. Whether it's
updating a fan favorite with a new look or delivering the latest
best-in-class technology, we ensure all of our brands are cutting-edge."
In multimedia, HARMAN's JBL division is releasing two new additions to
the JBL On Stage* family for the music lover on the go.
These iPhone/iPod® docking stations feature
powerful audio performance under the incredible, new Weave industrial
design. The JBL On Stage Micro III dock packs a punch with dual Odyssey
transducers. And weighing in at just under a pound, it makes the perfect
traveling companion. For a more muscular portable dock, the JBL On Stage
IV system boasts two additional transducers. There are few rooms or
outdoor spaces it can't flood with pristine JBL sound. Both operate on
AC or battery power.
JBL engineers also present new mobile products this fall, delivering
enhanced in-car audio performance. Thanks to two new amplifiers, the
MS-A1004 and MS-A5001, and a wireless bass control, the MS-WBC,
factory-installed car stereos will never sound better. Both MS-A
amplifiers are designed to improve your regular car stereo and feature
digital signal processing for extremely precise control and easy setup.
The MS-WBC works with MS amps to adjust crossover seamlessly, offering
smooth sound and heart-pounding bass.
