Endace and netForensics Partner to Give nFX SIM One Customers the Power to See All
AUCKLAND, New Zealand - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Endace
(LSE: EDA), world leaders in packet capture and analysis platforms,
today announced a strategic partnership with netForensics,
a world leader in high-performance, security information and event
management solutions (SIEM). The two organizations have partnered to
offer the first fully integrated Threat Detection and Event Correlation
solution, based on guaranteed 100-percent packet capture and analysis.
The relationship between Endace and netForensics will yield a wide
variety of benefits for customers. With immediate effect, the accuracy
of threat information flowing into netForensics' nFX SIM One solution
will be improved thanks to interoperability with Endace's range of high
speed cyber security monitoring probes. In addition, Endace Probes will
provide netForensics' customers with the ability to go back in time and
access packet data related to specific security alerts direct from the
nFX SIM One dashboard - improving Mean Time to Resolution, a key issue
for Security Operation Center (SOC) teams.
The announcement of interoperability between Endace and netForensics
further demonstrates the significant flexibility of Endace's packet
capture platform and is a prime example of why it's beneficial for
companies to integrate a fabric of Endace Probes across strategic points
on the network. Both companies will engage in joint selling and
marketing into a global customer base of telecommunications companies,
government agencies and Managed Service Security Providers (MSSPs) as
well as into strategic channel partners.
"One-hundred-percent accurate packet capture technology has strategic
applicability across many industries," said Mike Riley, Chief Executive
Officer, Endace. "netForensics has recognized the benefits of working
with our technology, and we are excited about the possibilities that
this partnership presents."
"This joint technology and sales partnership assembles a best of breed
solution for the most demanding customers who expect performance,
accuracy and a second generation approach to security monitoring and
mitigation," said Tracy Hulver, Vice President of Products and
Marketing, netForensics. "We also look forward to continuing to grow
this partnership with tighter integration to deliver deep speed forensic
analysis across large data sets."
