Terminal Tower Observation Deck at Tower City Center to Open Weekends Through October

CLEVELAND, Sept. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Due to popular demand, the Terminal Tower Observation Deck will be reopening to visitors beginning Saturday, Sept. 4, and continuing weekends through Sunday, Oct. 31.

Visitors will be able to experience one-of-a-kind views of downtown Cleveland on Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m. and on Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.

Reservations and tickets sales are officially open for this coming weekend. Saturday tickets are available at http://terminaltowerodeck.eventbrite.com, while Sunday tickets are available at http://terminaltowerodecksun.eventbrite.com (please note the different URLs). Tickets are $5 per person (plus handling fee), with free admission for children ages 5 and younger.

For future weekends, tickets will be available beginning at noon on Mondays for the following Saturday and noon on Tuesdays for the following Sunday. While purchasing tickets in advance is recommended, a limited number of walk-up tickets may be available on tour days only by visiting the Guest Services desk, located on Level 1 of Tower City Center.

Located on the 42nd floor of the Terminal Tower, the Observation Deck was closed after Sept. 11, 2001. Since then, Forest City has completed a $40 million interior and exterior renovation of the Terminal Tower. The Observation Deck was renovated and restored to resemble its original, Art Deco-inspired design, and was reopened to sell-out crowds in July and August of this year.

"As many cities across the U.S. began to open their observation decks again, we thought it was only fitting that Cleveland do the same," said Tower City Center General Manager Stephen Bir. "There is no other place in downtown Cleveland where families, both residents and tourists alike, can go up this high and see everything from Lake Erie to the Cuyahoga River and beyond."
