Fruit2O Small Changes>Lifelong Results Campaign Generates More than 12,500 Small Change Pledges to Raise Diabetes Awareness
CINCINNATI - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Fruit2O water, the original zero-calorie, fruit-flavored
water, has named the Cincinnati market of the American Diabetes
Association the winner of its Small Changes>Lifelong Results campaign.
The Cincinnati market received a total of 2,052 pledges from people
committed to making small changes toward better health. As a result, the
Cincinnati market will receive a $15,000 donation in addition to the
funds already raised throughout the course of this campaign. In total,
$65,000 will be donated to the participating American Diabetes
Association markets.
In May, Fruit2O kicked off the Small Changes> Lifelong
Results program with a 10-week, 10-city tour. During the course of the
four-month campaign, Fruit2O collected more than 12,500
pledges. For every pledge collected at local events and through the Fruit2O
Facebook page, the Fruit2O brand donated $1 to a local,
participating American Diabetes Association market, up to $5,000.
"Fruit2O was a terrific partner for us; this program assisted
our organization in spreading awareness of this growing epidemic and
raise $20,000 for critical diabetes research, education and public
outreach," said Beth Wilson, area executive director of the Cincinnati
American Diabetes Association.

Association volunteers at various spots across the country was Rebecca
Scritchfield, MA, RD, ACSM, a health fitness specialist based in
Washington, DC. Rebecca was onsite to consult with adults about making
small lifestyle changes that can have a positive impact on their health.
