"Fast food chain Burger King said the 2,520-calorie NY Pizza Burger is on its way to the franchise's flagship location in Midtown New York.

Officials said the burger, which features pepperoni, mozzarella, marinara sauce and nearly 2 pounds of beef, will debut exclusively at the Whopper Bar in Times Square early next month, the New York Daily News reported Thursday.

The sandwich comes served on a 9 1/2-inch sesame seed bun and is sliced into six pizza-style pieces." UPI

In a Las Vegas casino you won't find any clocks, the casino owners want to create a fantasy world where time stands still, and the fun never stops.

In a fast food joint the words "calories" and "diet" should be anathema, it's a fantasy world of delicious delights where the pigging out never stops.

At a gourmet French restaurant customers would be shocked to discover a 2,520 calorie Paris Pizza Burger on the menu, but anything goes in a fast food diner.

At the Whopper Bar in Times Square Burger King tries out new menu items, let's hope that New Yorkers will make the NY Pizza Burger a hit. I can't wait for the NY Pizza Burger to be available at the Burger King in my town.

America is the land of milk, honey, and humongous burgers. It would be positively un-American if Burger King doesn't make this huge burger available everywhere.
