Axion Building Materials are The Economical Future of Structural Design
Axion eco-friendly structural building materials
Axion International designs, develops and manufactures a new generation of eco-friendly structural building materials that are unlike virtually anything currently available. Patented technologies, developed by scientists at Rutgers University, transform recycled consumer and industrial plastics into a myriad of structural products.
Compared to traditional infrastructure materials such as wood, steel or concrete, Axion's American-made products are more durable, significantly longer lasting and formulated using proprietary processes comprised of 100% recycled plastic.
Our representative, Charles D. Dahan, is working with Maryland Trade Ambassador Philip Kapneck in discussing the opportunities for Axion in the State both environmentally and economically.

Environmentally, Maryland's ports, bays, waterways and byways projects could be constructed (or reconstructed) with materials that don't rust, won't corrode or rot, and don't emit any toxins. Axion's marine products such as pilings, "dolphins" (piling groupings to protect piers and set boundaries for channel travel), bulkheads and their applications to all areas of our waterways would have an important beneficial impact on Maryland's marine areas.
Economically, jobs would be created by repairing and replacing piers, pilings, decking, bulkheads, etc. that are in need of renovation.
Axion Maryland Office
Axion is in the process of opening a satellite office in Maryland to attract new companies for utilization of Axion products and services in the area.
