3rd Annual WBAB Long Island Police Tug-of-War Championship

WEST BABYLON, N.Y., July 30 /PRNewswire/ --

A benefit for the "Wounded Warrior Project", an organization that helps our troops as they return home from overseas with traumatic physical and psychological injuries.

Featuring THREE TUG-OF-WAR EVENTS:

    --  Suffolk vs. Nassau Police
    --  Suffolk vs. Nassau Deputy Sheriffs
    --  Suffolk vs. Nassau Correction Officers

Plus, the Nassau and Suffolk Police Pipe and Drums.

Official referees will include members of the armed services recently back from Iraq and Afghanistan.

Come see the 2009 Championship Teams from Suffolk County defend their titles. (Nassau police won in 2008)

After the event, stick around for the Championship Cup and Medal Presentation and a live performance by Motley Crue tribute "Theatre of Pain".

Great raffle prizes will be awarded with all proceeds benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project.

    7:05pm  NCPD vs. SCPD PULL
            Award Cup on Beach Stage immediately following

             Winning Correction Officers team invited on stage to accept
    7:35pm   trophies/medals
             Winning Deputy Sheriffs team invited on stage to accept trophies/
             medals
            Winning Police team invited on stage to accept trophies/medals
