Worcestershire, United Kingdom, July 21, 2010 --(PR.com)-- After months of consultation with the world's leading bike manufacturers to produce a bike that is safe, durable and great value for money, The Sports HQ is proud to offer its new range of mountain bikes.

The Woodworm GXI model is available in two sizes; juniors and adults. The 24” junior mountain bike is suitable for inside leg 60-72cm, approximate age 11 to 14 years and the 26” adult mountain bike is for those cyclists with an inside leg of 73-89cm.

Both the mountain bikes boast a wealth of features to enhance the cycling experience.

- Steel frames which means that the bikes are hard wearing
- Dual Suspension which ensures a smoother and more comfortable ride over rough and hilly terrains, as well as making those jumps a little more bearable.
- V Brakes to give extra braking capacity.
- 18 speed thumb shifter Shimano gears to give a smooth and reliable gear change to help tackle steep hills and descents.

Bikes are a new addition to the already extensive range of sports equipment offered by Sports HQ.

CEO Simon Millington said “We are really excited to be offering this new range of bikes. We are known worldwide for offering great quality products at low prices and these bikes are no exception.”

Cycling is a great outdoor activity and is an enjoyable way to exercise regardless of your level of fitness. It can be very sociable and also has the added benefit of being environmentally friendly.

The bikes are available online at www.thesportshq.com/mountain-bikes.aspx
