WHAT: 2010 Special Olympics USA National Games in conjunction with
Nebraska's PBS station (NET) will offer C-band satellite
reception for Opening Ceremony. The Games in Lincoln, Nebraska
will showcase athletes from across the United States, showing
the power of sports to educate about the true abilities of
people with intellectual disabilities. Both DVB and DigicipherII
encoding options are available.

WHO: Thousands of Special Olympics athletes, alongside their coaches,
family members and fans representing 48 U.S. States and the
District of Columbia will help to kick-off the Games in one of
the most anticipated events of the week. The Games will feature
co-hosts in model and actress Brooklyn Decker and Special
Olympics athlete and star of the 2005 Fox Searchlight and
Farrelly Brothers film The Ringer, Eddie Barbanell. There will
also be special performances by Jars of Clay, Michael Sarver and
Sandi Patty. Law enforcement officers from across the country
will also unite for the official torch lighting to open the
Games.
