Stinnett Thiebaud & Remington Opens Colorado Office

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., July 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Stinnett Thiebaud & Remington LLP, known for its practice in civil litigation and health care law, has opened its first out-of-state office in Colorado Springs, Colo. Mark A. Stinnett, the firm's senior trial attorney and one of its founders, will serve as managing partner for the new office.

Stinnett divides his time between the Dallas and Colorado Springs office.

Although Stinnett and his family have lived in Colorado for five years, the firm's expansion into the state resulted directly from client requests, according to the firm's managing partner, Stan Thiebaud. "A couple of our national clients asked us if we could take on some litigation there," he said. "Having an experienced trial lawyer like Mark already living in the state made this a natural move for us."

The Colorado Springs office opened with two attorneys, although the firm expects to expand that number as its statewide caseload increases. Joining Stinnett as "of counsel" in the office is long-time Colorado Springs resident Margaret Masters. The firm's new office will focus initially on its core practice of defense of complex medical, business, professional and product liability lawsuits in state and federal courts. The firm also handles governmental investigations and licensure matters for professionals and health care providers.

Stinnett has more than 29 years of experience in defending civil lawsuits filed against businesses, physicians, health care providers, professionals, and product manufacturers and distributors. He owns an outright winning percentage of better than 95% in cases tried to jury verdict, and his courtroom victories have resulted in savings to clients of more than a quarter billion dollars in potential damages. He currently serves as national chairman of the Boy Scouts of America's Outdoor Programs Committee and as program chairman for Philmont Scout Ranch, the largest private camp in the world. Stinnett plans to maintain his Texas litigation practice and divide his time as needed between the Colorado Springs and Dallas offices.
