Silver Spurs Equine's Purchase of Spooks Gotta Gun Reaffirms Its Position As a World Leader in the Reining Horse Industry

To celebrate the arrival of Spooks Gotta Gun, Silver Spurs Equine owners Michelle and Michael Miola have become the presenting sponsors of the popular Las Vegas High Roller Reining Classic to be held in Las Vegas September 12-18, 2010. In addition to the Classic's annual slate of exciting reining events, Silver Spurs will be presenting a special "Spooks Gotta Gun Derby" for 4 through 6 year old reining horses.

As a special added attraction for all reining fans, Silver Spurs will be bringing Spooks Gotta Gun and Conquistador Whiz to the show. Boomernic himself, the champion that is credited with making the sport of reining what it is today will also be making a special appearance.

"This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for reining fans from around the world to actually see the sires of their favorite competition horses," says Michael.

By making their world famous stallions available to the public and by charging affordable fees to breed to their stallions, Michelle and Michael are clearly demonstrating that they are strong advocates of the sport of reining and are truly "the people's stallion owners".

"The backbone of the NRHA is the small to mid-sized breeder. In recent years they have been squeezed out and, as a result, there is a shortage of good yearling and 2-year-old prospects. It is the mission of Silver Spurs Equine to bring those breeders back by making breeding to the finest stallions affordable again," Michael adds.

Is this going to be Silver Spurs' final lineup of stallions? According to Michelle, stallion manager of Silver Spurs Equine, "No way. We are just getting started."
