NEW YORK, July 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Fashion photographer Markus Klinko has demanded a retraction of an inaccurate headline and false statements contained in an article pertaining to him, posted by CNN's Alan Duke on CNN.com/Justice.

Markus Klinko & Indrani are a famed celebrity/fashion photography duo and the subjects of Double Exposure, a reality series about their artistic adventures with Lady Gaga, Lindsay Lohan, Naomi Campbell, and Brooklyn Decker currently airing on Bravo, Tuesdays at 11pm /10C.

The article, "Feds: Jilted boyfriend exposes actress' sham marriage" contains false statements attributed to the Feds, factual errors and omissions of relevant context, resulting in a distortion of the truth in an apparent attempt to sensationalize Mr. Klinko's cooperation as a witness in a criminal investigation.

At the time the article was published, it was the 3rd most-read article on CNN.com in that news cycle, and continues to be widely republished, causing irreparable harm to Mr. Klinko's reputation. After initial efforts by his representatives, Mr. Klinko personally reached out to the writer Alan Duke via email, requesting a retraction of the inaccurate headline and false statements contained in the in the article that pertained to him.

When presented with the truth, Duke refused to retract the false statements about Klinko in the article, claiming that any inaccuracies were the result of an interview he had with the prosecutor. Klinko's representatives received confirmation from those specific sources sited by Duke, that the false information disseminated by Mr. Duke, and published by CNN.com, did not in fact, come from them. With that evidence now in hand, Klinko's representatives again approached Duke, apprised him of the prosecution's statement, and again requested a retraction. Such a retraction is both warranted and appropriate, and Klinko would prefer to have the record set straight.
