Vertical Healthcare Solutions and SnAPPnet, Two Subsidiaries of Vertical Computer Systems, Engage William Shaw, III as Chief Operating Officer

RICHARDSON, Texas, July 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Vertical Computer Systems, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: VCSY)(www.vcsy.com) is pleased to announce today that the company has entered into an agreement with William W. Shaw, III to act as Chief Operating Officer of its two subsidiaries, Vertical Healthcare Solutions, Inc. (VHS) and SnAPPnet, Inc.

Mr. Shaw brings over 30 years of healthcare experience in software, services and devices. He will be tasked with organizing, branding and raising financing for VHS and SnAPPnet.

VHS was formed to bring together a cohesive offering under a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) delivery of the company's software solutions for the healthcare market in the private medical practices sector, including SnAPPnet, a credentialing product for doctors, Priority Time, a time and attendance product, and emPath® for small business, a payroll and human resource management system.

SnAPPnet, Inc. has been formed to offer SnAPPnet, a software product that makes it possible to automatically pre-populate hundreds of frequently used application forms for physician credentialing. SnAPPnet saves significant time and effort by creating a single, in-depth profile that covers all of a professional's data typically requested on license and board applications, as well as other related forms.
