Jammin Johnny Caride Shines Everyday in WXDJ- El Zol 95.7 FM
Jammin Johnny Caride is not only one of the most recognizable voices in South Florida radio on WXDJ-El Zol 95.7 FM, but he's also the Director of Promotions for Spanish Broadcasting Systems' (SBS) four radio stations in Miami: WRMA-Romance 106.7 FM, WCMQ-Clásica 92.3 FM, WXDJ-El Zol 95.7 FM and WRZA- La Raza 106.3 FM. As Director of Programming he works hand in hand with WXDJ's Programming Director, Al Fuentes.
After participating in various programming segments on WXDJ-El Zol 95.7 FM, one of the most popular tropical genre stations in Miami, Caride today stands out as the host of the daily 4-7 PM time period and the popular Top 20 Countdown that airs on Saturdays on El-Zol 95.7 FM.
Every day, Caride kicks off the 4 PM hour with the "TOP 4," a segment that allows the audience to select their top four songs. At 4:30 PM, Caride airs "The Vacilón Rewind" a show that recasts the best moments from the popular SBS morning radio show "El Vacilón del Africano," which is hosted by Al Fuentes. From 5 PM on, he airs "The Live Mix" a segment that features famous Miami DJs like DJ Sheriff, DJ Koko, DJ Handy Andy, DJ Freddy Fred, DJ Mikey Mixx, DJ Jerry, DJ Liquid and DJ Rey. Together, this group is named "The Mixeo Team," and they close out the show with great music created from their experiences in night clubs.
Every Saturday, Caride brings the WXDJ-El Zol 95.7 FM audience the 20 most demanded songs of the week selected from listeners on the station's website www.elzol.com. This show also features the "Perico Flashback," a request of the week segment and a segment called "Around the World" ( Alredeor del Mundo) where he presents the number 1 songs from different countries around the world.
Before joining SBS, Caride worked during the 1980s for famous DJs until he got his opportunity as a DJ in the popular radio station WPOW Power 96 FM. He used that experience to get back to his Hispanic roots, winning a place on Hispanic radio. Now the audience can enjoy his various talents and best tropical rhythms that reflect his great knowledge of music at WXDJ-El Zol 95.7 FM.
