Music Reports Announces Music Publishing Licensing and Reporting Partnership with Rdio
WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Music Reports, Inc. today announced that it is working with Rdio, the
new social music service from the founders of Skype and Kazaa, to
administer the mechanical licensing and royalty accounting for Rdio's
music subscription service in the United States.
Pursuant to the agreement, Rdio will participate in Music Reports'
licensing and reporting program for digital music services. Under this
program, Music Reports pays royalties to, and prepares music usage
reports and royalty accounting statements for, more than 20,000 music
publishing administrators representing more than 90,000 publisher
payees. Then publishers conveniently download the music usage reports
and accounting statements from password-protected Music Reports Websites.
