Westcor Land Title Insurance Company Launches National Agency Division

The team encompasses extensive expertise in the national arena. With 23 years in-depth, multi-state experience, Barbara Allen will lead the team with Sara Hewitt who has overseen the last five years of Westcor's national expansion. Kimberly Sledd, Fidelity National Title, formerly LandAmerica, is the newest member of the team with six years of experience and Chris Skinner with five years of industry experience in title, information technology and agency.

Westcor's National Agency Division was formed out of demand from the growing number of multi-state agents looking for an underwriter who provided a relationship built on trust and integrity and gives their agents access to all decision makers without competing for their customers. An attorney owned multi-state agent in Virginia acknowledges, "Westcor is the fastest growing underwriter of choice for large quality, multi-state agents as a result of their business expertise, political knowledge, and their ability to make decisions quickly in every aspect of the business, which in turn makes me, effective to my clients."

Westcor is currently licensed in 26 states with 10 additional state licenses slated for approval this year. "Westcor does not expect to be a 50 state solution, explains Allen. "Rather, our purpose is to identify and engage a network of quality agents and vendors to support independent multi-state agents in most markets even if the policy is not issued on Westcor."
