Quickoffice(R) Redefines Mobile Microsoft(R) Office Experience With the First Full-Featured, Custom-Built Office Suite for Apple's iPad

Intelligently Designed iPad App Offers Large Screen Features Plus Unique User Experience That 'Comes Alive' With Key Touch Technology

Quickoffice, Inc., the leading global provider of mobile office productivity solutions, today released its Quickoffice Connect™ Mobile Suite for iPad®. The application enables robust viewing, editing and creation of Microsoft™ Office Word and Excel files and integrates with mobile cloud storage providers, such as Apple's MobileMe, Google Docs, Box.net and Dropbox. Quickoffice's native iPad Office application was custom-built for the device to provide a distinct, intuitive user experience utilizing the iPad's expanded display.

Quickoffice's proprietary design, called SmartTouch™, is a series of user interface enhancements exclusive to the newly optimized iPad office product, which will also be available on other touch devices in the near future. Quickoffice has created a uniquely different design approach that offers a superior office experience, taking advantage of the large iPad display and delivering new features that include:

• Advanced touch controls -- manage files with simple-to-use touch, tap and drag controls with an advanced connected file manager. Scroll in any direction and drag and drop to email, move, copy and delete files on the iPad or on supported remote storage accounts.
• Smooth page scrolling -- single-touch navigation to preview page thumbnails and jump to any page in any size document.

Targeting this growing user base, Quickoffice Connect Mobile Suite for the iPad also allows users to retrieve information, view, edit and save back to their preferred storage location without leaving the application. It's available for an introductory price of $9.99 in the Business category in Apple's iTunes® App Store.
