To kick-off the league challenge, ijji.com is pitting it's top four A.V.A clans against professional gamers from a variety of the world's most competitive FPS games. The professional teams include:

The first round heats up on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 11 a.m. PST and the explosive finals will be held on Sunday, June 13 at 6 p.m. PST.

The top teams in A.V.A League: Season 1 will battle it out for the $5,000 grand prize. The second place team will log-off with $2,500, with $1,000 going to the third place team, $500 going to the fourth place team and the remainder of the top eight teams receiving $250 each.

In A.V.A, modern warfare hits combat zones around the globe where a formidable battle has broken out between the EU and the NRF. Players are tasked with picking a side and squaring off in an unprecedented battle amongst skyscrapers and deserted city blocks. With the signature quick-fragging action of the Unreal Engine 3, combat escalates quickly and tensions run high as players anticipate a bloody clash around every corner. Europe has yet to see more ominous missions or relentless enemies as seen on the streets of Alliance of Valiant Arms.
