RESTON, Va. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - STG, Inc. (STG) today announced its award of a $17.4 million, 3-year
contract to provide IT support services to the U.S. Army's 4th
Signal Center Pacific-Theater Network Operations and Security Center
(PAC-TNOSC). PAC-TNOSC's mission is to operate, manage and defend
the Army segment of the Pacific LandWarNet (PLWN) to guarantee the
effective delivery of mission-critical network services to all Army
entities serving in the Pacific region.
"STG offered the Army the best-value solution," said Jim Felter, STG
SVP, Defense Sector. "We have a history of proven performance at
PAC-TNOSC and will continue to provide a stable IT environment and a
flexible, cross-trained support staff with the necessary knowledge to
meet the needs of this geographically distributed enterprise."
Under the terms of this contract, STG will provide timely, secure and
responsive 24x7x365 IT services to users in the Pacific area of

in implementing their operational objectives. PAC-TNOSC represents one
of the six Army Theater NOSCs. STG is already playing a significant role
at the PAC-TNOSC, as well as one other NOSC.
"STG has been providing support to PAC-TNOSC for nearly 2 years and has
been supporting Army enterprise network environments for the past 10
years," said Simon Lee, STG President and CEO. "Because we proved to the
customer that we could meet their needs, we were selected to serve in a
larger, more prominent roll. By holding true to our fundamental
corporate philosophy, we added business while expanding our reach in a
