Touchstone Shareholders Appoint Durfy and Smith to the Board at Annual Meeting

Touchstone Resources Ltd., (TSX VENTURE: TCH.H) (Quoted in US$) ('Touchstone' or 'the Company') announces that its Annual General & Special Meeting of shareholders was held in Vancouver, British Columbia on June 1, 2010 at which:
-- Paul Baay, Ron Bryant, Trevor Mitzel, Ron Schmitz, Sean Durfy and Gregg
Smith were elected as directors of Touchstone for the coming year;
-- the incumbent auditors of the Company, Davidson & Company, Chartered
Accountants, were appointed auditors of Touchstone for the coming year;
-- the shareholders approved, by an ordinary resolution, the Company's
proposed rolling Incentive Stock Option Plan for the coming year; and
-- the shareholders authorized and approved, by a special resolution, the
reduction of stated capital as reflected in the Company's consolidated
balance sheet at December 31, 2009.
The incumbent directors of Touchstone are pleased to welcome Mr. Sean Durfy and Mr. Gregg Smith to the Board of Directors.
Mr. Durfy joined WestJet Airlines Ltd. as Executive Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Airport Operations in 2004 and in 2006 he took on the role of President of WestJet and Chief Executive Officer in 2007 until his retirement in April 2010. Prior to his time at WestJet, Mr. Durfy served as an executive of Enmax Corporation in 1999 and as President and Chief Operating Officer at Enmax Energy Marketing Inc. from 2000 until 2004.
Mr. Smith is currently the President and Chief Operating Officer of PetroBakken Energy Inc. He joined Petrobank as Vice President in March of 2003 and was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Petrobank's CBU in September, 2008. Prior to joining Petrobank, Mr. Smith worked in the oil and gas industry in various positions including Senior Geophysicist, Exploration Team Leader, and Exploration Manager.
