The Cancer Support Community brings support, education and hope to thousands of people and families facing cancer. Evidence-based services not only complement medical treatment but have been found to enhance recovery and improve the quality of life for people affected by this disease.
The Cancer Support Community provides comprehensive psychosocial support and education programs for people with cancer and their caregivers, children and families. Our programs and services enable cancer patients and their families to manage their treatment and recovery as effectively as possible, increase their chances for survival, and provide for a higher quality of life.
Anyone affected by cancer is welcome, and all of our services are always free of charge.
As part of an international non-profit organization, the Cancer Support Community - Silicon Valley takes its place along with the 44 Cancer Support Community affiliates in the US and 3 internationally, plus the satellite locations.
The Wellness Community San Francisco Bay Area has operated in the East Bay since 1990.
