New Hampshire Higher Education Loan Corporation Announces Amendments to Dutch Auction Tender Offer with Respect to Education Loan Revenue Bonds
CONCORD, N.H., June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- The New Hampshire Higher Education Loan Corporation (the "Corporation") today announced that it has amended its offer to purchase (the "Offer") for cash, upon the terms and subject to the conditions set forth in the Invitation to Offer to Sell Auction Rate Bonds, dated May 24, 2010 (the "Original Invitation"), pursuant to a First Supplement to Invitation to Offer to Sell Auction Rate Bonds, dated June 2, 2010 (the "First Supplement"), with respect to the outstanding auction rate Education Loan Revenue Bonds listed below (collectively the "Bonds").

The Corporation has added the New Hampshire Health and Education Facilities Authority, Education Loan Revenue Bonds, New Hampshire Higher Education Loan Corporation Issue, Series 1998B to the series of Bonds for which it will consider offers to purchase, and has determined that it will not obtain rating confirmations on the Bonds in connection with certain proposed amendments to the documents governing the Bonds. The Corporation has determined that it will seek the consent of a majority of the bondowners of the Bonds in order to effect all such amendments. The Corporation will not be extending the expiration of the Offer in connection with the First Supplement. The Offer will still expire at 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on June 18, 2010, unless extended (the "Expiration Date"). Tendered Bonds may be withdrawn at any time on or prior to 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on the Expiration Date.
