Lee DeWyze Next American Idol! Crystal Bowersox Has No Appeal To Teens
By Robert Paul Reyes
Forty-seven million votes were cast after Monday's American Idol performance show, and on Tuesday Night - drum roll please.
On second thought forget the drum roll, to nobody's surprise Crystal Bowersox and Lee DeWyze advanced to next week's finale
Bowersox has been the judges' favorite since day one, and the judges' have warmed to DeWyze as they have noticed his growth as a performer.

The American Idol finale will be must-see TV, nobody wants to miss the crowning of the new American Idol, and nobody wants to miss the last episode featuring Simon Cowell.
I predict, no I guarantee, that Lee DeWyze will be the next American Idol. Lee DeWyze appeals to teen girls and to adults with his non-threatening persona. Crystal is young, but she's an old soul with little appeal to text-happy tweens and teens.
But I also predict that DeWyze and Bowersox will have successful recording careers.
