Media, Politicos & Hollywood Stars Shake Up Washington at Niche Media's Capitol File Magazine's Fifth Annual White House Correspondents' Association Dinner After Party, Presented by Bing and Renaissance Hotels

WASHINGTON, May 2 /PRNewswire/ -- On the evening of one of Washington, DC's highest profile cultural events, the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner (WHCAD), Niche Media's Capitol File magazine helped bring excitement, glamour and a Hollywood-style celebration to Washington with their fifth Annual WHCAD After Party hosted by Niche Media CEO, Jason Binn and featuring special guests Wolf Blitzer and Chef Bobby Flay. The After Party, held last night, was presented by Bing((TM)) and Renaissance Hotels and also marked the debut of the brand new May/June Issue of Capitol File featuring a cover story profiling Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the US House of Representatives.

The invitation-only event drew several hundred of Washington's media, business, and political insiders, as well as a mix of boldfaced names in entertainment. With music provided by Hollywood mainstay last in town spinning President Obama's Mid-Atlantic Presidential Inaugural Ball, DJ Cassidy, and a sophisticated crowd that danced until the wee hours, the Capitol File party quickly became the ultimate "Nerd Prom" destination for the cool kids, even boasting guests checking into a special "Mayflower Renaissance" Foursquare listing.

Guests enjoyed a signature tequila-pineapple-chile margarita created by Bobby Flay and a special VIP champagne lounge on the upper level with cocktails courtesy of The Charmer Sunbelt Group. Throughout the night guests relished custom-made Bing-branded chocolates, hand crafted by artisan Edward Marc Chocolatier, and refreshed with FIJI Water.
