Sanford Health & MeritCare Select Multiple Lawson Enterprise Software Suites

Sanford Health & MeritCare merged in November 2009. It is now the largest not-for-profit rural healthcare provider in the United States. It serves patients in the Dakotas, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, and Oklahoma, and employs more than 18,000 people. As a combined entity, Sanford Health & MeritCare needed to replace its legacy systems with a single enterprise software system to manage business activities, including financials and supply chain. The Lawson system will now be used as the core enterprise system for the merged organization.

Using the Lawson system, Sanford Health & MeritCare seeks to improve efficiency throughout the organization's supply chain and finance activities. Lawson Mobile Supply Chain Management and Lawson Business Intelligence will help the organization gain more accurate and timely views into key operational data.
