Overnight Success...GE's New Washer Gets Dirty Clothes Ready to Wear by Morning

The washer's innovative "Overnight Ready" cycle washes clothes, then removes so much moisture that clothes are comfortable to wear without transferring to the dryer.* It's the first unit in the industry with the ability to wash small loads** on an overnight cycle. The cycle even helps prevent clothes wrinkling compared to clothes that are left sitting in the washer overnight. The Overnight Ready cycle keeps clothes moving gently up to eight hours to remove moisture content. Two easy-to-clean filters trap lint for excellent results.

"Laundry Your Way" lets consumers take control with new products, choices and features. When the GE Profile Frontload Steam Washer and Dryer is paired with the optional pedestal (sold separately), the owner can activate SmartDispense technology, which automatically adds just the right amount of detergent or fabric softener and takes the guesswork out of doing the laundry. Select a regular drying cycle and the dryer uses steam to get clothes virtually wrinkle-free!

With a half-dozen new washer-and-dryer pairs added to the lineup in 2010, GE Appliances is offering consumers more ways than ever to have clothes and household linens cleaned and dried quickly, satisfactorily, and with the greatest of ease.

In addition to the GE Profile Frontload Steam Washer and Dryer, other new frontload units include the features most often requested by individuals and families to keep up with the demands of home laundry, including Adapative Vibration Control technology, which optimizes the washer to the consumer's specific floor type reducing vibration and cycle time by maximizing spin speed. These include smaller-sized models that can either fit neatly under the counter or be installed in a stacked design.

New products also include side-by-side topload models equipped with the largest capacity available on the market.***
