Go Bald For Good: BIC 4 GOOD Collects Head Shaves To Support DoSomething.org; One Lucky Person To Win $4K

From April 15 through August 31, 2010, BIC will be donating money to DoSomething for every shaved head. Proof of shaves can be submitted online at bic4good.com with a creative video or a photo of the newly coiffed head. Even those who are a little razor shy can get involved with the BIC 4 GOOD virtual shave; all that's needed is a headshot and a little imagination.

BIC's donation amounts vary depending on how the shaved heads are submitted with videos topping out at $44, photos at $4, and virtual shaves at $1.44. And as if doing good wasn't incentive enough, every person who submits a shave between April 15 through June 24 will be automatically entered to win $4,000 in the BIC Flex4 BIC 4 GOOD Sweepstakes.

"There's something really intriguing about shaving your head, and we know that many people have toyed with the idea," said Jamie Kistner Senior Brand Manager Shavers at BIC. "BIC 4 GOOD gives us a reason to celebrate our new Flex4 razor and provides a little push to anyone who has ever thought about going bald. Not only do you get to support a good cause, but you also might walk away the winner of the $4,000 grand prize."
