James Hahn Named Vice President of Sales for Transamerica Insurance & Investment Group

James Hahn has joined Transamerica Insurance & Investment Group (TIIG), a marketing unit of Transamerica Life Insurance Company (TLIC) and its affiliates, as Vice President of Sales, announced Marty Flewellen, President of TIIG.

"Bringing James into the Transamerica family was such a natural fit. To start, he has what it takes to support an independent distribution channel. Plus, he has exceptional skills when it comes to relationship building, creative problem solving and strategic planning -- and he has the drive to generate high-quality sales," Flewellen explains.

Hahn comes to TIIG from Lincoln Benefit Life, where he served as National Sales Manager for fixed/variable life and fixed annuities sold through brokerage general agencies. Prior to that, he was a Regional Vice President for Lincoln, and National Sales Director with Financial Resources of America, Inc. He is Life, Health, Series 6 and 63 licensed.

"In addition to being responsible for growing our sales and strengthening our distribution relationships, James will work closely with the Marketing team on the development of customized strategic plans for our top distributors," Flewellen said. "Integration of our sales and marketing initiatives continues to be a top priority, and James will play a pivotal role in this effort."
