Jim Fowler Joins A.M. Best's Business Development Ratings Services Group as Manager of Property/Casualty Markets

Mr. Fowler's role at A.M. Best will focus on property/casualty markets, in particular, medical professional liability, state workers' compensation funds and title insurance. Mr. Fowler will work closely with the insurance and financial services industries, educating and promoting the value and benefits of Best's Credit Ratings as well as the process to acquire ratings.

Mr. Fowler brings with him 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, including over 10 years of underwriting and marketing with a major medical malpractice company. Mr. Fowler also held the position of marketing officer for a $100 million northeast insurance company, and most recently, a key marketing position for a major Manhattan wholesale broker, where he was responsible for business development.

Mr. Fowler holds a B.A. in business management from Virginia Tech, and has completed the Workers' Compensation Program offered by Michigan State.
