Courage Center Announces 'Twins Swing for Courage' Fundraiser Presented by Dairy Queen and the Minnesota Twins

MINNEAPOLIS, April 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Twins Swing for Courage (TS4C) is an exciting new fundraiser that combines the love of America's favorite past time and the opportunity to donate to a highly respected community nonprofit ... Courage Center!

Search for your favorite Minnesota Twins player and make a pledge based on his on-field performance between April 5 and July 31, 2010. For example, if you pick Joe Mauer as your favorite player, then select a hitting unit (i.e. single, double, home run) as your pledge base. Every successful at-bat by Joe increases your donation to Courage Center! For more information on how to play, click on How to Play TS4C.

The fan who raises the most dollars during Twins Swing for Courage receives a one year supply of Dilly Bars, courtesy of Dairy Queen. The award presentation will be made Saturday, July 31 at Courage Center's No Name-Deli Express 5K Your Way, presented by Dairy Queen and the Minnesota Twins.
