Comcast Partners with the Masters Tournament to Deliver the First National Sporting Event in Next Generation 3D

On Thursday, April 8, Comcast will host an invitation only viewing
demonstration for the 3D broadcast of the 2010 Masters Tournament at
Comcast Center. This is the first time that a sporting event will be
broadcast nationally in 3DTV on television and the Internet.

As a distribution partner for the Masters, Comcast, in partnership
with Augusta National Golf Club, is bringing people together to
watch the legendary Tournament like never before - in next
generation 3D. With the focus primarily on the back nine holes of
Augusta National Golf Club, attendees will experience the Masters as
though they are actually on the course with the contours of the
greens, Amen Corner, sand traps and players coming to life in
incredible 3D on Sony next generation 3D TVs.
