Fox Sports en Español and Alianza de Futbol Kick Off 2010 El Sueño de tu Vida

Alianza's lineup of participating scouts is a true "Who's Who" of Mexican soccer including scouts from Chivas, America, Tigres, Monterrey, Puebla, Leon, Cruz Azul, Toluca and Pachuca. Also in 2010 and as a result of El Sueno's de tu Vida's success, the Mexican Soccer Federation (Federacion Mexicana de Futbol) will be sending its talent evaluators to El Sueno tryouts.

In order to further expand opportunities for young players, Alianza recently announced a partnership with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). The NSCAA will offer seminars in select Alianza markets for coaches of teams participating in the Verizon Copa Alianza and Copita Alianza tournaments. This landmark partnership will also open the door for the 30,000 NSCAA members to scout El Sueno de tu Vida players and will invite high school soccer coaches to encourage their top players to participate in the scouting sessions.

"The NSCAA will bring our expertise and services to the Hispanic community through Alianza with a goal toward aggressively increasing our Hispanic membership base and giving Hispanic coaches every opportunity available to learn and professionalize their resumes," said Joe Cummings, CEO of the NSCAA.

In each venue, Alianza scouts will evaluate talent in two age divisions, "Open" and "Under-17." Eighteen players will be chosen for the El Sueno de tu Vida Local All-Star Team which will play against a Mexican Primera Division A, Under-20 or MLS reserve team. Four players from each All-Star team will be added to a national player pool of 40 finalists for the National All-Star Team, which will face a top professional team in a game nationally televised on Fox Sports en Espanol on October 3^rd, 2010.
