Westborn Market's Floral Department Finds New Home in Dearborn

Westborn Market recently completed the expansion of its Dearborn store to house the full-service flower department, previously located across the street on Michigan Avenue. As quickly as winter turned into spring, the spacious new storefront addition was filled with a medley of custom designed floral arrangements, colorful bouquets, unique giftware, fresh cut flowers, gift baskets and more.

"We are delighted to give our customers the convenience of shopping for all their grocery, gift and floral needs under one roof," said Erin Childs, manager of the store's flower department. "The new space is very inviting and makes it easy for us to showcase a beautiful variety of floral and gift displays."

Childs and her staff are especially pleased that the flower department's new home includes a private consultation room to meet with customers in an intimate setting and help them with arrangements for weddings, anniversaries, funerals and other events.

Unique to each of Westborn Market's stores are the large custom-built walk-in coolers to keep fresh bouquets, tropical flowers, ready-made arrangements and flowers by the stem.

Customers can place their orders in advance by telephone or online via the store's Web site at www.westbornmarket.com. Delivery service is also available locally and worldwide.

Floral bouquets receive complimentary wrapping, and items purchased in the department can be rung up at the flower department's central counter or in any of the store's checkout aisles.

"Although our flower department only moved into the new space a few days ago, our customers have already made us feel like we're at home," added Childs. "Our goal is to return their loyalty with the best quality, pricing and service of any full-service flower market."

Childs noted that the flower department's phone number 313-274-6083 remains the same. It's a direct line to place flower orders and request assistance. The flower department is open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday through Saturday, and from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
