Lady Gaga came of of nowhere to become the queen of YouTube. Why is this controversial and unconventional performer racking up more views than established superstars?
The answer is simple, everybody loves to gawk at a freak show, especially when there's no price of admission. Folks who click Lady Gaga videos aren't music lovers so much as they are lovers of the bizarre.
Sometimes I click on a Lady Gaga video, and turn off the audio, I'm simply curious to see what outrageous outfit she's wearing.
