Weekend Premiership Predictions - Big Money Makers

By

It's a little late and I apologize for that, but with a big weekend of football coming up I couldn't let it pass without giving some tips and predictions. Don't forget to check out Sky Bet, Bet365 and Ladbrokes who all have decent free bet offers for new members.

Luck has been on my side with some midweek predictions (Fulham, Liverpool and Inter) so here is where my money will be going on the weekend. Good luck to all who follow, if you have any other predictions/tips for any of these games (or any games) let me know by dropping me a line on here or on Twitter. If they come through I'll be sure to give them a mention.

Aston Villa v Wolverhampton

Villa are looking hot for that fourth spot but have been a little shaky and this could prove a tough game for them. Wolves have been doing OK recently but I can't see them stopping Villa.

Good bets here would be a -1 handicap win for Villa. A bet for 4 goals or more, and one for both teams to score. A solid treble if you fancy the risk, but mostly just odds of Evens rolling around for these bets.

Stoke v Tottenham

This one will be tough for both teams. Spurs are the clear favorites but Stoke have shown that they should not be ruled out this season. I fancy a few quid on a score draw here.

Portsmouth v Hull

Pompy are rock bottom and out of luck, yet some bookies fancy them for this match. They have been a good money maker for me recently, backing them when they have been unfavored, but this time I would go against them. Hull recently changed managers which is normally a prompt for the side to fight hard to win their place for the new manager.

If you are on the exchanges and can Lay Pompy then go for it, if not; settle for a Hull win.

Arsenal v West Ham

Possible good In-Play bets here. Fabregas could return for the Gunners and West Ham are certainly not in any great form, but they did surprise Chelsea when they equalized against them the other week. As predicted then, Chelsea still went on to win big and the same should happen here, so if West Ham nick the first goal or the scores are level at half time, get your In-Play bets on Arsenal to win by 2 or more.

Manchester United v Liverpool

Sunday kicks off with this mega tie. I can't see beyond a Manchester United win here but with so much bad blood between these two teams my money would be going on Bookings. The bet of a high card count and a red card would be sound and bets on players like Rooney (venting at the ref), Carragher, Mascherano, Scholes (crazy tackles that we all know too well), Torres (he has had three yellows in last 5 games) to be shown cards should be good.

Fulham v Manchester City

Fulham will be high after their fantastic win against Juventus midweek, but they will also be tired. Manchester City will be looking to compensate for their poor point against Sunderland. I expect a draw but look out for Fulham nicking the first and then get your money on a Draw, a few quid on a Manchester City win at that point wouldn't go amiss, they have the talent and the quality on the bench; Fulham's tiredness may show through.

Blackburn v Chelsea

Pederson or Dunn could make this an exciting game if they nick the opening goal. A small bet on Dunn to do just that would be risky but would also pay off big. Chelsea will be dejected after the loss to Inter midweek and will also be tired, so it is very likely that Blackburn could come out of the traps and nick the first goal, and when they do get your money on Chelsea to win by 2 or more.

That's it for this weekend. It's going to be a busy few weeks of football though so I will drop in some more predictions later. Good luck! And don't forget to check out the following sites for free bets and great In-Play action: Sky Bet, Bet365 and Ladbrokes
