Wellbilt Internationals' Sure-Board Wall Panel is Ready to Assist in the Reconstruction of Haiti
MIAMI - (BUSINESS WIRE) - In the wake of the natural disaster in Haiti, there are worldwide
efforts to help rebuild a country that is clearly at loss. In February,
Wellbilt International started assisting the healing process. Wellbilt
International is unique in that their products have been tested,
certified and received Product Approvals by Miami-Dade (NOA) and the
State of Florida (FL2981-R2) for uses in Florida's High Velocity
Hurricane Zones, and in the State of California (LA City) for lateral
force resistance required for earthquakes.
In the past 45 days, there have been multiple efforts to assist the
Haitian government in rebuilding their infrastructure. The challenge is
in efficiently evaluating the vendors and their products. Wellbilt
International understands this dilemma and has placed representatives on
the ground. "We have to be on site to prove our commitment and level of
certification," stated Alina Van Katwyk, President of Wellbilt
International.
The need to have schools, housing, and hospitals reconstructed
immediately is crucial. Wellbilts' (www.wellbiltinternational.com)
Sure-Board Wall Panel is a patented process, including galvanized steel,
to create a structural, load bearing-lightweight, fast/easy to install,
exterior or interior wall panel. The Sure-Board Wall Panel is not just
your ordinary wall panel. From the research, it is the only earthquake
and hurricane resistant wall panel with California and Miami-Dade
approvals and certifications. Schools, Hospitals, Military Housing,
Office Buildings, Hotels and Motels have already been built throughout
the U.S., including Florida and California, utilizing Sure-Board
technology, These projects required building permits and traditional
building inspections, including those to meet the higher standards
required for Florida's ESSENTIAL buildings (hospitals, emergency
management buildings, etc.).
In the upcoming weeks, Wellbilt International, backed by
an army of qualified and experienced engineers, led
by TLC Engineering For Architecture (www.tlc-engineerings.com),
will be working with US government officials, the Haitian government,
United Nations Organizations and various Non-Profit Groups to see how
they can expedite rebuilding. For additional information on Wellbilt
International products, please contact Alina Van Katwyk @ 305-884-8020.
