The Iranian Regime is a Result of Post Cold War

What I don't understand is instead of these war expenses there are many ways to discredit and topple this dictatorship regime a lot cheaper. The Iranian regime is a result of post cold war, and was to prevent Russians from reaching the Gulf after the Shah was kicked out, due to raising the price of oil in mid 70's.

So if the extremist got in power because of US funding to stop communism in the Middle East, we should fund a campaign to stop and remove these fanatics the same way. If we spend the war money on alternative energy we would not need so much oil to go to expensive wars The Russians are laughing at us, as we act like the Sheriff of the world. They know we will go broke spreading ourselves thin globally. They say give them enough rope, and they will hang themselves.

This is how the Chinese and the Russians we'll beat us. When we are tired, broke and no more energy to fight. No one looks at us as the protector of justice now, but a greedy bully that they can't wait to see fall.

As an Iranian-American I can says that I love both countries and I see so much potential, but both act like they lost all their intellects to come up with a better way to save humanity. Greed and corruption is eating away at both.
