Ben Kugler Announced as Chief Operating Officer of dreamGEAR®

Kugler joins dreamGEAR after founding and operating DV&A, an organization that has one of the largest market shares of the entertainment liquidation business in the United States. DV&A buys & sells over 15,000,000 DVD's, CD's, video games and hardbound books annually, buying and selling to the who's who of the entertainment and retail industries. Bringing an extensive history in the digital entertainment field to dreamGEAR's consumer electronics portfolio, Kugler currently serves as Chairman Emeritus of the Board of DV&A. During his tenure at DV&A, the company saw an increase in unit sales from 300,000 to over 10 million units. Also, a 15-year veteran of The Millard Group, one of the largest privately-held companies in Chicago, Kugler was instrumental to increasing corporate sales five-fold.

A revered author, Kugler penned the screenplay entitled "The Moment," a dramatic thriller, and co-authored the January 2010-released book 50 Secrets that Guarantee Getting a Job for Young Adults, along with having edited The Natural Laws of Parenting, Parenting Essentials and How to Handle Difficult Situations with your Child.

Kugler graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor's degree in political science. He's also taken a variety of post-graduate courses in management, finance and deductive problem solving. A passionate believer in charitable works, especially for children, Kugler has been involved with countless charities since his youth including St. Jude's Hospital, ABLE International & Cherish the Children Foundation, to name a few.
