Max Returns to Southern California After 12 Years to Unveil His Newest Collection of Paintings Including a Portrait of Country Music Sensation Taylor Swift

World-renowned artist Peter Max is returning to the Los Angeles area for the first time in more than 12 years to host a public in-gallery artist show unveiling his new portrait of singer/songwriter Taylor Swift and his newest Masters of Expressionism collection at Road Show Gallery on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.

Max will unveil his new portrait of Taylor Swift -- from the cover of her multi-platinum album, "Fearless" -- and his collection of paintings -- including portraits of Rembrandt, da Vinci, Van Gogh and Picasso -- at the event on Saturday, March 27 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, March 28 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Max will meet with fans and inscribe a priceless dedication on paintings purchased at the exhibit. There is no charge for the event and it is open to the public. All 120 original pieces of art are available for purchase from Saturday, March 20 (uncrating is from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.) through Sunday, March 28.

Peter Max is America's most well known and most collected artist. He is well known for his paintings of iconic Americana. His psychedelic, multi-dimensional paintings of historical landmarks in American culture have maintained their signature style and flare throughout his multi-decade career. Max's art has appeared on a Boeing 777 Continental jumbo jet, the 1999 Woodstock stage and a giant mural at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.

Max has achieved his place in history having painted for various Heads of State. Often incorporating iconic symbols of America into his work, Max has painted for six U.S. presidents, and created the official artwork and poster for the Clinton Inauguration. His "Flag With Heart" impressionistic paintings of the American flag are permanent installations in the Carter, Reagan and Bush presidential libraries in addition to his Statue of Liberty paintings, which have become an annual painting tradition since America's Bicentennial in 1976, and led to Max playing a lead role in the renovation of the Statue of Liberty.

Road Show Company is located at 430 N. Rodeo Dr. in Beverly Hills. For more information, call 888-513-8385 or visit www.roadshowcompany.com.
