Wyndemere Senior Living Community Acquired by Life Care Services

Longstanding CDH Relationship Remains Collaborative

WHEATON, Ill., March 17 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Life Care Services LLC (LCS) of Des Moines, Iowa, recently announced the acquisition of Wyndemere Senior Living Community in Wheaton, Ill., a senior living community in the western suburbs of Chicago. LCS was selected by the community's former owner, Central DuPage Hospital (CDH), after an extensive search to identify an organization with significant and proven expertise in senior care and the ability to enhance the senior living environment at Wyndemere.

Wyndemere Senior Living Community opened 18 years ago under the direction and ownership of CDH, and has become one of the area's most successful senior living communities. The community includes apartment and townhome residences; Westbridge, an assisted living community; and Wynscape, a full-service nursing and rehabilitation center.

As part of the transition, CDH and LCS will jointly make an additional $2 million capital investment in the Wyndemere campus. Erin Donaldson, an employee of LCS, was recently appointed as executive director to take over the leadership role of Joe Benson, Wyndemere's president under CDH ownership.
