Development in Kashmir Co-Related With Peace

Srinagar, March 17: The chief minister of the Indian administered Kashmir, Omar Abdullah Wednesday said development in Kashmir is co-related with peace.
"While the government is thoroughly engaged in carrying forward its agenda of all round development, it is also working to help political engagement for restoration of permanent peace and settlement of issues across the table", Omar said while addressing a public gathering at mountainous Rajouri region of Kashmir.
He said development is co-related with peace and tranquility and every stakeholder has to put in its efforts in this regard.
He that the rehabilitation policy for the youth who have crossed over to Pakistan controlled Kashmir (PcK) in 1990s for achieved arms training and want to return peacefully is aimed at achieving twin objectives of rehabilitating them and blocking the means for sneaking in illegally. "It is for the first time in last 21 years that Kashmir Government has convinced Government of India for the need of such a comprehensive policy for youth who want to return and live a peaceful life," he said.
