Waste2Energy Engineering Ltd. Receives Order for Preliminary Engineering and Layout Design

  Share With Friends

Waste2Energy Engineering Ltd, a subsidiary of Waste2Energy Holdings, Inc., (W2e) (PINKSHEETS: WTEZ) announced that it has received an order for preliminary engineering and layout design from Levenseat Ltd, for a 180 metric ton per day waste-to-energy facility on the current site near Lanark, Scotland.

The award for initial engineering comes as a result of significant due diligence by Levenseat Ltd. of the Waste2Energy technology & existing operating installations.

When fully operational the plant, which incorporates W2e's latest continuous Batch Oxidation System (cBOS™) technology, is sized to potentially process 60.000 tonnes of municipal solid waste stream that is currently deposited in the existing landfill on the site.

Levenseat Ltd is committed to implementing an environmentally sustainable strategy through the development of a fully integrated facility and has selected the technology to optimize the use of resources by diverting materials from landfill, while producing approximately 6 MW of renewable electrical energy and maximizing the utilization of the available secondary heat.

W2e's cBOS™ technology is employed in a 24 MTPD plant in Husavik, Iceland that has been operating for over 4 years and in a 120 MTPD facility in Dumfries, Scotland that will start commercially processing waste later this month. The air emissions from the Husavik plant have materially exceeded the stringent EU regulations and the Dumfries plant has received a permit to operate from SEPA (Scottish Environmental Protection Agency).
