Betty White Rules TV Land
By Robert Paul Reyes
"She's the hardest working woman in showbiz.
In addition to her May 8 Saturday Night Live appearance and starring on the May season finale of ABC's The Middle, Betty White, 88, has landed a sitcom job. AP reports she has signed to co-star in TV Land's Hot in Cleveland." Read More
Betty White is a beloved icon, her amazing career has spanned over sixty-five years. White is best known for her television roles as Sue Ann Nivens on "The Mary Tyler Moor Show" and Rose Nylund on "The Golden Girls."
Betty White's well-received Snickers Super Bowl ad has catapulted her to a dizzying level of fame. I'm thrilled that White is going to rock the house as the guest host of "Saturday Night Live" on May 8, but I'm more elated that she's returning to what she does best: Act in a sit-com.
I don't know anything about "Hot in Cleveland", but the fact that White plays a role in that sit-com makes is Must-Watch TV. Hopefully the Queen of TV will entertain us for a few more years.
